Every year in November at full moon, the Thais celebrate Loi Krathong, a festival of light that is a time of reflection and looking forward positively to a new year.

This year at Festningen from 08.00, today 17th des, the children of Yr 3, Trondheim International School will be enacting this tradition. This is a school event when 100 lanterns will be lit and set a sail into the air, rising into the air for all to see, it will be a chance to reflect on how lucky we are to have family and focus on other less fortunate.

The monthly running cost to provide for 63 kids and 20 staff is approx 40.000 kr of 750 kr per child. (This cost covers everything including their carers, holdiays etc..)
