Dear all,

As the year comes to a close I would like to say a big thankyou for giving me the opportunity to be your swimming teacher. I have really enjoyed the fun we have shared in the pool and want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Id like to take this opportunity to thank my dedicated teachers. Thanks Anja and Misha for your enthusiasm and professionalism…. You are the best. I wish Misha all the best with the masters studies and we all look forward to welcoming you back after the summer. 

As many of you already are aware,  we are 100 percent certain that swimming will continue until at least 31 juni 2011. However, I am very humbled by the incredible support many are showing in finding ways to keep the pool open for our children, as well as, the other users that include the patients of St Olav, St Olav staff, LHL pensioners, the Muslim ladies group, and many, many more. I remain 110 pc commited to working until we find a long term solution to this issue.

For everyone, week 50 will mean the end of the 2010 season. I wish those  of you who are taking a break, the very best and look forward to welcoming returning students and new students back when swimming starts again in week 3, 2011.

The online registration process has been a little less efficient than I expected so I ask everyone to be patient with me as I finalize groups…. basically the groups from 2010 will continue as per today… however I will be providing folk with new days and times and allocating new students with appropriate groups. I will be asking folk to confirm their wishes at classes in week 50, to try to tie up a few loose ends. Once I have a clearer picture of returners wishes I will be able to welcome the new students to the course.
